The assault resulted in the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
